- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup strawberry schnapps
- Strawberry Syrup
- 1 jar strawberry preserves
- 1/4 cup strawberry schnapps
- 1/4 cup of your favorite wine ( I used Pinot)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
- Pinch cinnamon

Here’s a breakfast that will diffidently make friends and family happy! Sweet and satisfying. Great for brunch, holds well in chafing dishes. Enjoy Fab Foodies!
Directions
- Strawberry Syrup
- In med sauce pan add one jar strawberry preserves, in the empty jar add schnapps and wine cover & shake add to pan, sugar, strawberries and cinnamon.
- Turn heat to med/high bring to boil. Boil for 15 mins turn down to med and simmer for 45 mins.
- Strawberry French Toast
- In a large bowl add milk, eggs, schnapps and cinnamon and whisk together.
- Slice bread 1" thick soak bread in mixture for a couple mins.
- In a large skillet turn heat on med spray with Pam add French toast, place a small skillet on top of toast to speed up the cooking process.
- Cook until firm and top with syrup, whipped cream and powder sugar and sit back and enjoy ~
