- 1 large onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- ¼ Cup black and green olives
- 1 (28 ounce) can Italian plum tomatoes
- 6 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Pinch red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper to taste

This is a fabulous recipe and so simple. The time is in the simmering, which is so important. This is a must try recipe.
Directions
- In large saucepan, brown beef, pepperoni’s and pork.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Mushrooms, olives, celery, tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, stock, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper to saucepan.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer one hour, stirring occasionally. Make your favorite pasta ~ WaLa Enjoy ~
