- 6 cups water
- 1 10 oz can tomatoes & chilies
- 1 10 oz can red enchilada sauce
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 onion diced
- 1 Tbsp chicken base
- 1 Tbsp beef base
- 2 heaping Tbsp fresh minced garlic
- Pinch red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 3 cups chicken
Description
Here’s a spin off of the chicken tortilla soup. This has a slight heat, great depths of flavors. Love the cheese tortellini in it!
Directions
- Put all ingredients except cheese tortellini in crock pot. Cook on low 7-8 hours. 15 -20 mins before dinner add cheese tortellini and cook for 15-20 mins. Garnish with cilantro & fried tortilla strips. Enjoy Fab Foodies ~
