• 6 cups water
  • 1 10 oz can tomatoes & chilies
  • 1 10 oz can red enchilada sauce
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 Tbsp chicken base
  • 1 Tbsp beef base
  • 2 heaping Tbsp fresh minced garlic
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 3 cups chicken

Description

Here’s a spin off of the chicken tortilla soup. This has a slight heat, great depths of flavors. Love the cheese tortellini in it!




Directions

  1. Put all ingredients except cheese tortellini in crock pot. Cook on low 7-8 hours. 15 -20 mins before dinner add cheese tortellini and cook for 15-20 mins. Garnish with cilantro & fried tortilla strips. Enjoy Fab Foodies ~
