• 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts diced in 1" - 1.5" pieces
  • 2 boxes angel hair spaghetti
  • 2 peppers... I used yellow and red chopped in 1"- 1.5" pieces
  • 3 small zucchini chopped in 1"- 1.5" pieces
  • 2 med onions chopped in 1"- 1.5" pieces
  • 1 package fresh mushroom's sliced in half bigger ones slice in thirds
  • 1.5 cups Thai basil
  • Oil
  • Oyster sauce
  • Soy Sauce
  • Fish sauce
  • Minced fresh garlic
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Sriracha
  • Sesame oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth... 2 cups for the sauce for the chicken and vegetables and 1 cup for the noodles
  • 4 limes

We recently moved to Ca.  I was just out for lunch with and friend. We ordered a couple thing’s to share and this was one of them, I was inspired to recreate.

The Thai basil is what makes this dish… Delish!!






Directions

  1. Chicken Marinade
  2. Diced chicken
  3. 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  4. 1/4 cup Thai basil
  5. 1/4 soy sauce
  6. Pinch of red pepper flakes
  7. Few squirts of sriracha
  8. The juice of one lime
  9. 1 heaping tablespoon of fresh minced garlic
  10. Combine ingredients and pour over chicken and refrigerate for at least an hour if you have more time 2-3 hours
  11. Sauce for the chicken and vegetables
  12. 2 cups chicken broth
  13. 1 1/4 cups Thai basil
  14. The juice on 1 lime
  15. 1/2 cup oyster sauce
  16. 1/2 cup soy sauce
  17. 3 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
  18. 3 pinches of red pepper flakes
  19. 4 squirts of sriracha
  20. 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  21. 1/4 cup water
  22. 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  23. Combine and set aside
  24. Sauce of the noodles
  25. 1 cup chicken broth
  26. 1/4 cup Thai basil
  27. 2 pinches of red pepper flakes
  28. 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  29. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  30. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  31. 2 tablespoons water
  32. 1 tablespoon oil
  33. Combine and set aside
  34. In large wok or pan add 3 tablespoons oil on med/high heat add chicken when chicken is almost cooked add vegetables cook for 2-3 minutes and add your sauce turn down heat and let simmer while cooking your noodles.
  35. In a large pot add water and bring to boil... don't add salt. break your noodles in half and add to boiling water. cook 1 minutes less than what the package says. Remove from heat and rinse with cold water. Put noodles back in pan and add noodle sauce and stir until noodles are covered evenly. Then on med/high heat cook until noodles are warm.
  36. Fresh lime for garnish and Thai basil.... Enjoy!!!
