• 1 lb sirloin, diced into small hunks (remove fat)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup flour, salt, pepper and dash of garlic powder (for the sirloin)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Pinch or 2 of cayenne pepper (optional I like it :)
  • 2 packages beef gravy
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/8 cup red wine
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Garnish with fresh Parmesan and Italian parsley

Description

Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff

This is so easy, just a few ingredients. Let your slow cooker do the work.

This will jump off the plate and give you a hug :) warm and comforting!






Directions

  1. Garnish with fresh Parmesan and Italian parsley
  2. Serve over buttered, salted and peppered egg noodles or mashed potatoes
  3. In a large fry pan add olive oil, heat oil on med/high heat
  4. Add your flour, S&P and garlic powder and coat steak, once the oil hot add steak to pan.
  5. Cook until brown.
  6. In your slow cooker add… beef gravy, water and wine and whisk together.
  7. Once steak is browned add to slow cooker along with mushrooms, onion powder, garlic powder and S&P.
  8. Cook on low for 5.5-6 hours** The last half hour stir in the sour cream**
  9. This will jump off the plate and give you a hug :) warm and comforting!
